Apophysis

Apophysis is a great, and more importantly, free flame fractal renderer you can find at Apophysis.org. I will cover the software a bit more in depth later in the week, but for now, I would encourage you to download it and have a bit of fun. The wallpapers below were created using Apophysis.

Nested Wallpaper

I was going to wait until Friday to release this, but what the heck. This wallpaper is entitled "Nested". Not as trippy as Smile, but it utilizes the same lighting techniques that I am practicing, and I feel it shows off the technique in a more artful manner.

It is created with painters traps over a basic julia and processed all to crud in Paint shop Pro.

I hope you enjoy!
See you next week.
Chris.
